Andel is a revolutionary platform with a simple mission: make brand-name medications easy, affordable, and reliable when insurance won’t. They needed a brand that felt as disruptively human as the proposition, while still delivering the credibility needed in the category.

Andel provides access to medication that’s unlike anything else out there - so we needed to look just as different.
We explored the broad context - from telehealth to traditional health insurance; drug discount brands and modern pharmacies - to identify the overused codes and cues to break, and also got inspired by out of category brand mentors who shook up their worlds in a way that felt trusted and human.

Andel is all about the AND - celebrating our connected network that gives our members more. A dynamic & symbol brings our active community and always-on supply to life, while giving more meaning to our name (Andel pays homage to farming co-ops in Denmark in the 19th century, but isn’t a widely known term today).
We gave it new meaning by bringing to life all of the ‘ands’ Andel provides - affordability & accessibility; clarity & care; trust & community.

The ampersand line comes to life across applications, linking Andel with its members and connecting patients to their medications and community.
We wanted the full experience of the Andel brand to cut through and engage users with a refreshing and disruptive identity that champions patients, builds trust with employers and healthcare stakeholders, and injects humanity into a category once defined by complexity.
